Dog Boarding Facilities in New York

I had to ask to see where the dogs stay when I dropped my dog off. When you walk in, all you can smell is urine. We walked by a kennel with a sweet pitbull in it, and he saw that she had pooped and he screamed "are you kidding me?!"... Seems a little inappropriate for someone who is supposed to be "caring" for dogs. When I picked my dog up, she was panting like she hadn't seen a bowl of water in days. I asked for some water before we left and the attendant, with an attitude, said "she had a bowl of water in her crate". She drank more than usual when he set it down. I also sent a huge bag of dog food with her, and when I picked her up he said she only had a little left in her bowl. She came home and ate her food like she hasn't eaten in days (and I don't think she has). Just follow your gut and don't take your pets here for anything. The money you save during your stay, you will spend ten times over in medical bills after something happens to your dog in that place. view short comment
