Dog Boarding Facilities in New Jersey

I am really surprised by the comment above. We havve been using Country Kennel for over 10 years and all of our dogs are rescues. Country Kennel is very strict about dogs being healthy and having all the required shots so as not to expose other dogs to any illnesses. I have a feeling that maybe the dog did not have the required shots or was ill,

The response was, "we are just concerned and wondering why you would need to foster a dog in NJ that came from NY?". Does a boarding facility REALLY not understand the world of dog rescue and adoption? Do they only board dogs that come from breeders and are permanent residents of a family. We place hundreds of dogs a year, but being an hour south of NYC, apparently Country Kennel finds it not worth their time or customer service to board a "rescue dog". Great organization...hope all the perfectly "bred" and owned dogs are happy here. We will continue to fight to rescue, adopt and place dogs all over the country and will be certain to never recommend Country Kennel to any of our premanent adopters.
