Grand Haven was recommended when my friend turned out to be allergic to my dogs. I had to find somewhere to board them while visiting her. I was able to visit them during their stay and got to see how the place was run. Terrific!!!! I highly recommend this place. You can tell Connie truly cares about the animals and looks after them as if they are her own. Next time I visit I won't hesitate to bring my dogs again because I know they will also have somewhere great to stay. view short comment

Our dog stayed at Grand Haven this summer while Connie was the owner, and the experience was absolutely wonderful! She was great with our dog, and was genuinely interested his well-being. We didn't realize there had been an ownership/management change & took our dog back late this summer (Aug.), and wasn't as happy. Our dog was in the outside kennel when we picked him up, and he was very timid and scared to come in through the doggy door. the floor had an extremely slippery material on it, and our dog could not stand or walk without slipping. His demeanor just didn't seem as happy either. I was especially bummed since we had such a great experience a couple months prior. view short comment

Wendy was great! We never wanted to leave our dogs anywhere else. Connie, the new owner, is proving to be just as great. The kennel is still so clean, does not smell, and she truly loves the dogs she cares for. We still never want to leave our pets at a different kennel! We highly recommend Grand Haven for boarding your dogs!

This is the best boarding facility I have ever seen. As soon as you walk in the door, you feel so comfortable about leaving your dogs there. I can travel without any worry about my three dogs, and that's a great feeling.

I would highly recommend Grand Haven. The facility is modern and clean. The owner lives on the property and has pets of her own - so she takes great care of her visitors. Absolutely love Wendy and her staff. She kept my boys Tex & Louie for years. They were up in age when I started boarding them with her and she never had any problem giving them their meds or keeping a close eye out for their well being. My boys are both gone now, but I still recommend Grand Haven to all my friends. Great facility and very caring staff. A++++

Everything the previous reviews say are true. Very clean, great play room, great attitude, very professional, and most important, they really do seem to care. While staying at Grand Haven, my pet ran out of meds and Wendy was kind enough to call and let me know. The concern is genuine. Grand Haven is always my first choice.

We have used this kennel many times over the past 6 years. We have always had wonderful service, found prices to be reasonable and were completely satisfied with the care our dog received. The owners are wonderful and really love the animals. A wonderful home away from home for your pet!

I love the job Wendy does with our babies, Jack and Henry. Her facility is clean, temperature controlled, and she truly seems to care about them. We have taken our pets to her for years, even for grooming when she was doing that-always happy with the results. Recommend her highly! Really would not want to take them anywhere else.

We have three small dogs, and have left them with Wendy at Grand Haven a number of times, and would NEVER leave them anywhere else. This is the best of the best. Extremely clean, the dogs are more than well cared for. She goes above and beyond your needs. Very highly recommend. We are very picky about our dogs, and they will always go to Grand Haven in Foristell, MO.
