This boarding place misrepresented boarding charges. Initially, the charges were to be fifteen dollars. When I called the day before we arrived to verify the reservation, the operator told us the charges were now twenty dollars per day because gas prices had risen. When I paid for forty-three hours of boarding, the operator asked to be paid for three days of boarding. My dogs were at this kennel from three PM on Sunday until ten AM on Tuesday, a total of 43 hours. Her point was that the dogs were present part of Sunday, all of Monday, and part of Tuesday. We were not told of this policy until after we came to get our dogs, just as we were not told of an increase in rates from fifteen to twenty dollars until seven days after we made the reservations and the day before we arrived. By that time it was too late to make different arrangements. In addition, the kennels website stated a fifteen dollar per day boarding fee. My experience with this kennel was marked by misrepresentation of charges on the part of the operators. view short comment
