Dog Boarding Facilities in Florida

I just picked up my dog after 4 days ($160) at Canine Cabana in Merritt Island, Fl, and am VERY unhappy with the condition of my dog when we picked her up. My husband got the dog and I paid the bill. I just picked up my dog after 4 days ($160) at Canine Cabana in Merritt Island, Fl, and am VERY unhappy with the condition of my dog when we picked her up. My husband got the dog and I paid the bill. After getting in the car with my dog I noticed thousands of insect bites (fleas, ants, mosquitos, something) all over her head, back, legs; both of her front paws had raw pads and her whole underbelly had red marks (maybe a rash? the size of pencil erasers...and bigger. I was shocked. None of this was mentioned to me when I was paying the $160 fee. After coming home, I called and spoke with George. He was unaware of my dog's situation and all he said was he was sorry. And by the way, their internet video didn't work either so I was unable to observe my dog on our trip. I will not use them again, and will tell everyone I can about this experience. view short comment
