Dog Boarding Facilities in Florida

I wonder how many people actually LOOK to compare the claims on the website versus the actual facilities! I just dropped my dog off and I'm already looking for a cleaner, brighter facility! The website claims "We have the finest boarding facilities in the Keys. Each kennel is 5 feet x 6 feet, air conditioned, and located inside away from the elements. Your dog is played with outside 5 to 8 times each day with one of our many animal loving associates. They are then given a bath before they leave so you have a clean, happy dog!" Well I don't know about the bath, but when I asked to see the kennels, the front desk clerk hesitated, then slowly says "yeah..." I was taken back to see my dog, who was in a 2x3 foot kennel just like she would be in at the vet's - exactly what I was NOT promised based on their website. It reminded me of walking in to the humane society! I'll be finding alternate boarding ASAP! view short comment
