Like many families, we think of our dog as a part of our family. When the rest of the family has to travel and you can't take them along, it leaves you feeling a bit empty. The staff at the SOAH took such good care of our Border Collie. The animals are never alone, there is someone there around the clock. When it was time to pick him up it eased our minds to see how good of care he was given. His energy level requires that he not be cooped up all day. They understood my concerns and took us for a tour. It was very clean and somehow, did not even have a lingering pet odor. When we called to check on him Ursala told us she discovered that Finn loved to play w/ the water hose. We do that every day with him after we run him. We were impressed that they had discovered that. Cindy also said the next time we boarded him, we could bring his frisbees and they could play out back (they have a very large fenced in area that dogs who will listen off lead can play freely in and dogs that can't, get walked on the leash). He smelled great, looked great and was the same happy, healthy dog that we dropped off - w/ the exception of having made a few new friends. view short comment
