Dog Boarding Facilities in California

I love this kennel. They take such good care of my dog and cat. They really care. They have given my cat it's medicine at no charge and are always willing to talk to me on the phone when I am out of town.

When I arranged to leave my dog there, I told them I didn't think I could pick her up by their 5:00 p.m. closing time two weeks later because I wouldbe driving all the way from southeastern Idaho that day. They said it was ok, because since they live there, I could just call and let them know what time I would be there and they would open the gate. I confirmed this when I dropped my dog off, but on the day I was to pick her up, I called them at 2:30 and told them I was still 4 hours away, and they just said, "We close at 5:00." I explained that I had been told twice that it would be ok, and they just said "NO - we close at 5." I told them I would not be able to get there on time even the next day without taking time off work, because I live two hours away. They refused to make an exception, even though they had had my dog for two weeks and I had paid in advance. I finally had to get a friend to drive an hour to pick up my dog before closing. Then I had to drive an hour out of my way to get her. It was inexcusable for them to tell me one thing just to get my business and then go back on their word. I wouldn't trust them. view short comment
